MORE ABOUT Katie

I grew up in St. Louis (and also Kentucky...but that's a longer story) and then made my way to Columbia to attend undergrad at Mizzou. After graduating in 2016 with a degree in Linguistics, I moved to Kansas City and worked for a local nonprofit for a couple years before participating in a year-long mission program called The World Race. I had the privilege of serving alongside local churches in 11 different countries, and that experience made a huge impact on my life. Once I returned to KC, I met my husband Drew (you'll see him on drums sometimes), and now we have a spunky toddler named Millie! We've been attending Athens since summer of 2021, and I love doing logistics and operations for our church and getting to know new people! When I'm not at the building, you may find me at a park, listening to podcasts, or travelling anywhere and everywhere :)
